Sub Aqua Club Marinus
Thank you for coming to the Marinus web pages, weather you are new to diving in Finland or just wasting time in the net.
Sub Aqua Club Marinus is a friendly, active club based in Helsinki, Finland. The club was established on 1981 by a group of divers interested in wreck diving.
The interest can also be seen in the club logo with a wreck sign. The club is a member of the Finnish Divers´Federation (sukeltajaliitto).
Now we have about 50 members in the club. A small group of devoted members dive around the year, however most of the club activity is on summer time.
We own a boat Wiima that is the center of all diving activities. Regular diving trips with Wiima run from May to November, with some
longer diving camps in the islands of Finnish Gulf. In addition, we do ice diving, cave diving and trips to other countries. Norway is the most
frequent place to visit, but our members have visited Red Sea, Pacific, Thailand, Mediterranean, Great-Britain etc. At winter time,
we are training in swimming pools around Helsinki.
